Endeavor Orthopaedics Appoints Stephen Bertz as Chief Revenue Officer

TULSA, Oklahoma – Endeavor Orthopaedics today announced the appointment of Stephen Bertz as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), bringing more than three decades of medical device leadership, strategic growth expertise, and proven success in driving revenue and market share expansion to the company’s executive team.
Bertz joins Endeavor Orthopaedics following an extensive and accomplished career at DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company, where he most recently served as Vice President of the Southwest Area, overseeing operations across nine regions and generating well over $200 million in annual sales. Over his tenure, Bertz led high-performing teams that consistently achieved top national rankings while steering multi-billion-dollar regional portfolios through transformational integrations, mergers, and go-to-market realignments.

Throughout his 30-year career in the orthopaedic and medical device industry, Bertz has earned a reputation as a strategic thinker and results-driven leader. His strengths include sales strategy, product marketing, change management, talent development, and enterprise integration. During his time at DePuy Synthes, he played a key leadership role in the integration of Synthes into Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy franchise — one of the largest integrations in J&J history — while sustaining category-leading growth in Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, Sports, biologics and CMF in both direct and indirect sales channels.
Before joining DePuy Synthes, Bertz began his career at Stryker Corporation, where he quickly advanced through roles in sales and product management, ultimately overseeing marketing and product development for Stryker’s Dental Division.

Bringing a Strong Legacy of Leadership in Orthopedics to the Executive Team
TULSA, Oklahoma—Endeavor Orthopaedics, LLC, a specialty medical device company focused on advancing orthopedic trauma products, today announced two appointments to the executive leadership team. Mr. Jon Holder was elected to Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Greg Parranto named as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Holder joined the Board in January of this year, bringing his vast experience in orthopedic startup and strategic sales, and has been leading Endeavor as acting CEO since April of this year. As Chairman of the Board, Mr. Holder provides expertise in accelerated commercialization, sales team building and business development; and will continue to guide Endeavor’s strategic mission to advance innovation for the repair of periarticular fractures with the company’s orthopedic trauma platform.
Mr. Parranto will take the lead as its new CEO, marking a pivotal moment for the company. His extensive career in orthopedics, particularly as a leader and team builder within the market-leading Depuy Synthes/Johnson & Johnson family, underscores his exceptional leadership and transformative impact in the medical device field.
With a successful background in Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, Mr. Parranto has consistently driven growth within the healthcare industry. He most recently served as the Midwest Area Vice President for Trauma and Extremities within DePuy Synthes/Johnson & Johnson. His expertise in orthopedics extends to his role as National Director of Specialty Sales, Global Segment Manager for Facial Trauma Deformity and Reconstruction, and Contract Director for Strategic Accounts. In addition to 16 years of orthopedic experience, Mr. Parranto served as an officer in the US Army with multiple deployments. He was a Company Commander in Afghanistan from 2004-2005.
Mr. Parranto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, a Master of Public Administration degree from Webster University in St. Louis, MO., and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
